Second road win of the season. First since Air Force.

This USD win puts Pilots one game ahead the Toreros in the standings, with the tiebreaker victories. And USF and SCU lost to the top two teams on the road, bringing them back towards to Pilots in the standings. Unfortunately, BYU beat LMU, which leaves BYU one game ahead of UP, but LMU is only two games ahead (with the tiebreaker). Finally, UOP defended home court and kept PU winless, moving to 5-4. Pilots still have two shots to beat the Tigers, starting at Chiles in one week.

Now it is critical to keep the Waves winless Saturday.

I thought for sure you were wrong on this one, but damn.

That was crazy coming out of the second half. 19-0 run as Sound Voltex alluded to, part of a 29-5 run to put it all away.

This was Game 1 of a necessary 3-game win streak if the Pilots hope to avoid Day 1 in Vegas. Kenpom win projections are as follows, Pilots will likely need to hit 8 wins to finish 6th.

Watching the 19 point run.  USD missed 4 open jumpers, 2 layups, a couple putbacks, and 2 free throws.  Pilots also had some good defense, especially a Nduka block of Earlington at the rim.  Actually could have been worse, as Nduka missed a layup on a 2-on-1 fast break, and the Pilots missed a couple other shots.  USD finally stopped the run with a 3 point shot from the top of the arc.

Announced attendance was 1,210. Didn't look like that many on the stream.
