Made it to the game easily, but as always I'm questioning my judgment. They need to offer $5 or maybe free tickets for the Santa Clara game to get some butts in the seats. The crowd was dead tonight, and you can't blame them. Would've been even worse without military appreciation night bringing in some more folks.
This was pretty bad folks- LMU is a real bad team and they got anything they wanted in the second half. The deterioration in McSwiggan and Walker is remarkable.

MCSwiggan's confidence is at zero. Tonight he couldn't make simple passes; threw it to LMU multiple times for his 4 turnovers. He was 0-5 from 3PT, and 1-8 overall, making a finger roll shot in the key. But they have to play him. Franklin started, played 32 minutes, and only took 3 shots, missing both his 3PT attempts.

You need to look at the passes he gets on his first 3 offences he was wide open but Shaver would not pass but gets passes when he is being marked and late in shot clock. Look at his shot from 35 ft out with a second left on the clock. Shaver is playing like a guy trying to get his numbers up for a transfer. Guards had two assists in the game, selfish play and not using the team/ player in the right position. shaver 4 turnovers also.

Unlikely that you'll have a good outcome when a possession is more likely to end with a turnover than with a made basket:
16 field goals and 18 turnovers against LMU.
15 field goals and 20 turnovers against BYU.
31 field goals and 38 turnovers for the weekend.

88 for the Pilots. 111 for our opponents.
