I see on the Oregonlive commitment list that Eddie Sanchez ( FC Portland) committed to the men's team.

It's a start. Why are the men so much harder to ferrets out?

Three more ( i think) that I have seen anything on:

Aaron Caprio Midfielder Inter FC (UT)
Matthew Coffey Inter FC (UT)

Who committed a while ago, according to RDS

And possibly
Christian Garcia   Salpoint Catholic. AZ

PORTLAND, Ore. --- Aaron Caprio (Lehi,Utah/Lehi HS), Matthew Coffey (Sandy, Utah/Brighton HS), Geoffrey Dunn (Sunnyvale, Calif./Adrian C. Wilcox HS), Thomas Peterson (Honolulu, Hawai’i/Southridge HS) and Eddie Sanchez (Canby, Ore./Canby HS) have each signed a National Letter of Intent to join the men’s soccer program at the University of Portland. All five will join the roster as freshmen next fall.

Aaron Caprio & Matthew Coffey

Aaron Caprio, who is 6-0 tall and can play both forward and in the midfield, played for the Region IV ODP Team for three years and spent four years with Utah ODP. Caprio was named to the U.S. Youth Soccer ODP Championships All-Tournament Second Team, the 2010 All-Tournament Team in Costa Rica and to the All-Tournament Team at the 2011 U.S. Youth Soccer ODP Boys Winter Interregionals.

Caprio was a four-year letterwinner at Lehi High School and he helped the Pioneers reach a top-20 national ranking and win the 2010 Utah State Championship. Lehi reached the state playoffs all four years and the Pioneers claimed three regional titles. With his Inter FC club team, Caprio won three State Cups, three Surf Cups and a President’s Day Cup. Caprio scored two goals, including the game-winner, during the 2011 State Cup Finals and he tallied the game-winner during the 2011 President’s Day Cup final.

A 5-11 forward, Matthew Coffey was a teammate of Aaron Caprio on the Region IV Team, the Utah ODP Team and they played together for Inter FC. Coffey landed on the All-Tournament Team at the Interregionals and he won five State Cups during his seven years playing for Inter FC.

Geoffrey Dunn & Thomas Peterson

A three-year letterwinner at Brighton High School Coffey landed on the Utah 5A All-State Team as a junior and he garnered all-region honors as a sophomore. Coffey helped the Bengals reach the state championship game twice and he scored 12 goals during his junior campaign en route to most outstanding forward honors.

Geoffrey Dunn is 6-2 defender who played in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy with his De Anza Force club team. His squad reached the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Playoffs in 2012. Dunn played just one year for Adrian C. Wilcox High School because of his involvement with the Development Academy.

Thomas Peterson played with Oregon ODP in 2010. A 6-2 midfielder, Peterson has also played with FC Portland since 2009 where he claimed the State Cup in 2011 and 2012. Peterson’s club team advanced to regionals in 2010 and made it to nationals in 2011 and 2012.

Peterson, who was a four-year letterwinner, played prep soccer for both Aloha High School and Southridge High School. He earned all-state honorable mention and was named team MVP twice. Peterson advanced to the state quarterfinals with the Skyhawks in 2011.

Eddie Sanchez

Eddie Sanchez is a 5-9 midfielder/forward who played with the Region IV team in 2010 and 2011. Sanchez was also a part of Oregon ODP and he won consecutive state titles with FC Portland, where he was a teammate of Thomas Peterson.

Sanchez earned four varsity letters at Canby High School and he was a four-time selection to the Oregon All-State Team. He was also a four-time selection to the Three Rivers All-League Team and he was named the league’s co-player of the year as a senior last fall. Sanchez was also the Cougars’ top goal scorer.

Does anyone have access to how many stars Top Drawer or other sites have given these guys? Obviously, that doesn't mean everything, however, we've struggled to do better than get three star or "blue chip" players in recent years...

Sanchez sounds like he might be better than that...
