Kade Bonham, a 6-7 8th grader from LA, has been offered by the Pilots...he'll be a 9th grader in the fall.

Two more local kids entering high school in the fall have received offers from UP.
Boden Howell, 6-3 SG South Medford HS, Medford, Oregon
Brayden Boe, 6-2 PG, Moutainside HS, Beaverton, Oregon
It is the first offer to both players, and so far, the only offer that we are aware of...

In 2011 David Carr came to the Pilots from Central Catholic and did a pretty fine job leading the club as the point guard at the end of his freshman year and most of his sophomore year before going down with an ACL injury. And now, Isaac Carr, his younger brother by 14 years, has been offered a scholarship by UP.

Some have said that Marshall Cho coached 6-6 freshman Winters Grady is the best prospect out of Lake Oswego High School since Kevin Love due to his big frame and mobility that allows him to score inside and out.
Remember, he still has 4 years of high school ball ahead of him...

Because you can never have too many 2025 point guards...
JJ Mandaquit, from Hawaii, played club ball all over the US in 2021, and after visiting the University of North Carolina, the one-time Duke fan decided he wants to attend UNC before heading to the NBA, but first he has four years of high school, and for now, he has his first D1 offer from UP.

Just a high school freshman, Gutierriz is a 6-6 forward from the Dominican Republic playing ball in Charlotte, NC.

Australia is to Saint Mary’s as Latin America is to Portland? We’ve got Silviera and Gorosito, and now a batch of offers across multiple classes to guys from the DR and Colombia. Building on the foundation laid by Barreno and Rochin!

If you want Australia, the UP womens team has more Aussies that SMC does.

With 20 months to go before he is even eligible to sign, I think I'll just take a wait and see attitude on this commitment.

#9 Central lost to #1 West Linn on Thursday when Isaac scored 16 points (4-5 3-pointers) and grabbed 5 rebounds before being name Player of the Game.
Yesterday, in a game I did not see, Central Catholic lost to #5 Gresham, and Isaac was held to just 2 points on 1-8 shooting.
Still two more seasons of high school ball and numerous AAU games yet to play...

6’4” 2025 sniper Isaac Carr has committed to @CoachLegans and @PortlandMBB.
“I just really love the coaching staff at UP and I love the style of play there — it felt like the right time because I wanted to secure my spot in a really great program with a lot of promise. My brother [David Carr] had a great experience there and I’m grateful to be able to have the same opportunity,” said @isaac_carr35.
Kendrick Williams, Isaac’s longtime AAU coach added “Portland is getting a hard worker, a high IQ guy and someone who has a speciality as he is a high level shooter.”

6-2 SG Carr decommits and a point guard is made an offer.
At 6-4 with two years of high school ahead of him Jaiyon Gardner from Reno, Nevada, is going to be sought after by a number of schools.

The Pilots have made a scholarship offer to Dallas Washington, 6-9/190 forward from Santa Margarita Catholic HS in California.
Washington also has known offers from UC Riverside and WSU but is expected to get plenty of offers from major programs over the next couple of years.
