NCAA Championship Game

Great game. Clemson beats Alabama 35-31. Took a wild comeback drive in the last two minutes and scoring with 1 second left.

ESPN had 4 different broadcast formats for the game. On one, they had 6 head coaches analyzing in real time. I switched back and forth to here some of what they had to say. I found it interesting that the coaches seemed to be quite happy when Clemson was successful. Maybe Nick Saban wears on them too.

Great game...two years in a row, but this time the result was better.

Having lived in South Carolina for a number of years and attending games in Death Valley, I guarantee this game will be remembered and talked about for generations.

I guess I am supposed to feel sad now or something. It's amazing to me how many Clemson fans live in Columbia considering that it is home to USC (yes, we call it that here).

Kind of like the number of GU alums and BYU fans who live in the Portland area.

As I recall, Columbia is about 10 times bigger than Clemson, so that's where the jobs are, but I don't remember it being 10 times more fun....Clemson is definitely a college town!  

We have been lucky to have fantastic finishes to the last football and basketball championship games... the best part of the broadcast might have been the Clemson team dancing afterward.

After having lived in Athens, GA, I can say that actually prefer Columbia! Still haven't been upstate yet, though.

I have say "cheers" to the student I spotted walking around campus in a Clemson shirt today. Reminds me of when students would wear all their Oregon/Washington/Gonzaga stuff around campus at UP.

I swear, sometimes football seems like a competition to see which team can get away with the most pick plays.
