2015 Tournament Pick 'em

So with most everyone's brackets busted, let's get down to who we are each picking to win this afternoon....

The smart money is on UK and Duke....so I think I'll go with Wisconsin and Duke!!

No fair making your picks after 3:30pm PDT!

The smart money has pretty much been the way to go this entire tournament.  The championship game will be two #1 seeds, Duke and the winner of Wisconsin/Kentucky.

Made a little money tonight, but what about that no-call on Lyles smacking/pushing/shoving Gasser in the face.  Two questionable calls in a row in UK's favor and then boom, Wisconsin is pissed-off enough to ignite their play and pull away down the stretch.

Loved Coach Ryan's coolness and calm; the other guy was pretty excitable....maybe that's the difference between having upperclassmen competing against so many underclassmen.

I'm still in the lead, so I need to find a way for this game not to be played, or end up in a tie.

This evening I am looking forward to Wisconsin winning 78-72.  I know Duke won earlier this year in Madison but 30+ games later these are different teams.  Wisconsin is so efficient on offense and Duke is not Kentucky on defense.

I've been a Duke fan since living in North Carolina in the early '80's, but I too would like to see the relaxed and loose boys from Madison win this one tonight.  There's just something about the "older" carefree bunch vs. the younger precise team that appeals to me.

Pilot Riot Punch! Long time listener (reader), first time poster! Actually I'm positive I emotionally/angrily posted when UP nixed my golf program back in 2010 - just like my @up.edu email, no clue what my log-in/password is. From 11th place to 1st, my "Duke takes it all" bracket finally pays off. Cheers to everybody that played, this bracket was far more fun than my family bracket challenge. No doubt about it, I will be in Vegas for WCC tourny to cheer on my Pilots next season - at the "right time" its a quick drive from So Cal. Anyway I can trade the bucket o beer for a growler of Mac & Jacks?? ...come through my PNW friends

Hmmm, it would seem those who actually know the most about the game of basketball (or at least we think they do) finished in the bottom half of the standings....what's that about?

From my perspective it was all about finishing above one-time champion, PilotFan4Life...now that is an accomplishment!!

I was hoping I matched up bracket names to PN members correctly. I think I got them all correct.

I knew R54 was FOC, but I was trying to get one of them to come back and post. We haven't heard from DTR in quite a while. Must have really pissed him off.

Not surprising the ESPN Bracket Challenge winner is a 12 year-old......we were all a lot smarter at just about everything when we were 12!!

Yeah, I have had better brackets but at least I wasnt last. I dont know about you guys but I lost early when several teams that I had picked going through lost the first weekend. Those hurt lol

Im not a huge Duke fan but after listening to Bo Ryan throw the refs under the bus I was glad K won his 5th. Hes certainly a great coach and got/kept his freshmen confident and poised the whole tournament.

With college hoops over its comforting that I have a month left to watch Rhino play. Come to think of it he plays tomorrow morning 10 our time. Yes indeed life is good.

On a somber note, Whitworth University was tied to the plane crash after the game. Aaron Leetch was on the plane and was one of six people who died. Aaron was the AD at Whtworth from 2011 to 2013 and after that was with Ilinois State. Thoughts and prayers to his family.
