Defenders Speak About Goals

i like how in duin's column, soma calls our players 'control freaks'! an in a quote by a cu player after the 2nd round match talked about how we 'dance on the ball'. someone wondered if that was a compliment or an insult. i personally took it as a compliment. to be able to dance, you have to have skill, grace, and coordination.

I took their descriptions as relating to our players being able to keep good control of the ball in tight quarters through deft footwork. In other words, a very high compliment. It certainly wasn't an insult.

Thanks for the articles and translations, fellow Pilot friends. I wasn't sure exactly what they meant by "dancing on the ball". Now I do. And you better believe we are "control freaks!". That's why we win, and continue to win.
