Can the Chatbox link be added to more places? Perhaps in the header bar?

The "Chatbox" link has been added to the Navbar, next to "log out". Great idea, 7587.

Is the navbar too crowded now? I could remove the "front page" link, not sure if anyone uses that...?

I don't use Front Page, just Home.

And yeah, I think we discussed it earlier, but I would be fine with ditching the front page as well, the only thing of worth that it has are the links to all the other WCC boards and whatnot, I'm not sure if there is a way to make those accessible on 'Home' but I would be fine with just getting rid of it.

I suppose you could also get rid of the 'user groups' link on the top bar since the only real user group is the one for admins and mods...

I already tried getting rid of the "usergroups" link, and it is not possible to remove it...

I think we could move all the links to other message boards to a "stickied" post in one of the forums... Or if any of you computer programming wizards wants to volunteer to spiff up the home page, let me know...

If anyone has strong ties to the homepage, please let me know... at this point we might be better off getting rid of it. (I am referring to this page: LINK.).

I actually use the Front Page link, to see how many users are on. Memberlist could be moved to the Front Page, if you can't move Usergroups. Otherwise, just leave them all there.

You can also see this from "Home." It's near the bottom and shows how many people are online, it has access to the map and says who's been online in the past 24 hours...

I use the front page all the time. I intend to go "home" but I hit the wrong link. So I say "Nix that B***!"

It doesn't appear that it actually saved any room on the links bar.

As to adding more stickies, I'm not sure that's such a great idea. a whole pile of stickies scrolls the most recent messages right off the viewing page, so to use the forum at all, you have to start by scrolling. This is a particular problem on small screens (like an iPhone).

On a wider screen (or higher res. monitor settings), you can tell that SOME space was freed up by the removal of the front page, but yeah I agree on not wanting to add too much in the form of stickies, I guess you could lock a stickie in the "Other WCC sports" category with links to all the different fan sites... Not that we can't just use our own browser bookmarks if we really want to..

Agreed on the stickies... all the stuck posts in the WSOC forum are a bit much (and I will be un-sticky-ing them soon) and you almost miss them by skipping past them to the new "regular" posts below...

I was thinking a sticky with links to all other msg boads in the WCC category would be ok; there shouldnt be too many other stickies there...

I went ahead and created one, and locked the topic so it didn't get muddied with replies, that said if I missed any sites I can unlock and add whenever, but I got most of them...

Is it wrong that I really wanted to put the GU boards WAY at the bottom in really small font?
