Portlandpiltos.com has the poll up for the True Life video. It's down to Wally and another. Wally is much better and needs to be in vegas. Do your part.

Sorry if this was already posted, didn't see it.

Dude, it WAS already posted, and yes, I have voted several times. In fact, my mother-in-law has even voted and told all of her friends to vote. Vegas is not Vegas without Wally.

I heard a rumor that Wally tested positive between the 2001 and 2005 seasons.

He is, of course, denying everything and claims it is just other jealous mascots trying to frame him.

I know Clay Williams "The life of a pilots fan". While his production was not the professional one done by Wally. Sorry Wally. Clay is here and he is real. Send the kid to vegas. Wally looks like a former student who can send hmself.

To me it is not an issue of who can send himself to Vegas and who can't. We are voting on which video is better. Stonehouse put some some time and a lot of thought into his video. Whereas the "life of a Pilot fan" is just someone walking around Chiles with a video camera asking people why they are Pilot fans. Anyone could have made that video.

Agreed. The fact of the matter is that the Wally video is just better. That's why you should vote for it. plus, did you catch the old basketball posters from the 90s hanging in Wally's room. Classic!! Great touch!

I'm glad you noticed! I've got more where those came from too - I've got most of the soccer and basketball posters from the early 90s on.

Clay is a good friend of mine and definitely deserving... I wish I were up against someone else, believe me.

If Clay's parent/guardian can't cough up the dough to Vegas, he could alway's use his student loan money. Oh wait that's not its for ,just tell my nephew's that. Oh, I can't wait one more year until my daughter's in college and taking out student loans for spring break Party!!! while I put her through college. Shocked .....

I really don't think the point of the contest is who has the least money at their disposible.

Looking at the vote totals, me think something fishy is going on with the other candidate... ~4,000 votes in the last 8 hours?

Me thinks someone is spamming the ballot box... Suspect

He was passing out "vote for this video" stuff at the women's game last night...but there weren't 4000 people there. I agree, it's very suspicious.

Does anyone else find it odd that over 10,000 votes have already been cast? Hypothetically speaking, if you were to get 10 of your friends to spend 3 hours voting for you by voting then deleting the cookie and then voting again, how many votes would that get you? Let's say each person does 2 per minute and clears 360 in 2 hours, totaling 3600 votes in all. For the low, low price of a 6 pack of beer or a 4 pack of red bull, I'd say it's a great return on investment for a trip to vegas.

I was noticing the vote totals, too... It doesnt seem to add up to me. Either total, actually.... I am wondering how accurate the vote totals are... it is real easy to inflate that sort of thing to try to make something look more important than it really is....

I bet if you have a friend in computer science or some other technology expert, you could develop a macro that would just spam the voting non stop... this is the risk you run by placing a general poll out there, instead of requiring a sign-in.

I mean shoot, I just timed it and I voted 4 times in a minute by deleting the cookie and voting again. And I'm not super techno savvy or quick with a mouse either.

The poll has been pulled from the frontpage at portlandpilots.com. Is the voting over? Or did the suspect voter turnout lead to its' removal?

Hahha lets just say a "truce" was reached... While i admit to engaging in some voting shenanigans, in no way do i have the processing power of a dorm full of college students and their ability to stay up til 4 AM wasting their parents money by stuffing the ballots instead of hitting the books...
