Against NH..Much better

I think we've found a player in Van Shaike! We need a presence in the middle! He'll have his fair share of bad games being a freshman..but give him minutes this year and it will payoff in the next years!!

Wasn't at the game but listened..so either NH was very weak...or we were playing soccer like it should be played on the Bluff..short smart passing on the turf!

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come!

Two things went on today.
1) UP passed and they kept the ball on the ground. Even the lobs were used apropriately, for the most part. Much better. more like pilot soccer should be.

2) UNH was playing a 3-5-2 and essentially gave us the outside, and it looked like the mids coldn't keep up.


You hve to wonder why they did that. It didn't look like they had any plan to exploit the advantage in the middle.


Well, It looks like the team is on the right path. Lets hope it keeps up.

I don't think Lopez played. Fredback got some minutes late.

I went to the game on Friday and it was a great! The weather even behaved. Looks like we got some good freshman, esp the goalie Austin. Should fill the void left by Luis well. Team looked unlucky but that can happen first game of the season. Glad to hear we got 3 goals today. We broke down easily under pressure Friday how were we again NH. Go PILOTS

I'm actually not that impressed with austin. He really was only tested once today.
